Another story: For those of you similarly inspired to plant and plant and plant beautiful flowers, by 2011 I encountered a dilemma and here is my solution: When I told “Mr. Gardener”, the horticulturalist from Urban Oasis, that we would have to stop buying plants from him because I didn't have enough time to weed, he said "I can weed for you." I thought about this, and the next week I asked, "Are you serious?" "Yes," he said; so he is now “Mr. Gardener”. This is great because he knows which plants are not weeds.
He asked "How can you keep planting? You should invite us to come see." Now he knows because he helped prepare and plant the "Butterfly Nectar Garden," the "Camellia Garden," the "Beautyberry Garden," the "Palm tree Garden," and our prepared, but yet to be planted, "Wisley Envy Garden" that we will fill mostly with bulbs, and he amended our "Wildflower Garden." (Most of these gardens I have re-named.)
The fence row that became the Camellia Garden was full of briers, sweet gum trees, loblolly pines. It now has mostly Camellias. Here are a few:
